Big Wood May 20, 2010
By Marc B. Willis

This is a nice chair and yes it did need a little assembly but I did it all by hand tightening it. The chair is big though. If you have one of those walk in showers this will be great for but if you want to place it in a tub you will need to angle it a bit.

VERY GOOD BATH SEAT! Sep 16, 2011
By C. Barnes

I purchased this bath seat for our 4' shower stall. It is attractive, well made, comfortable and sturdy. I would not recommend it for a shower less than 4'x4' as it would take up too much space. For anything larger it is perfect! I squeegee all the water off the bamboo seat every time I finish showering....I believe it's a good way to preserve the wood. I have no complaints and highly recommend this shower seat.

not as stable as I had hoped... Jun 21, 2010
By T. Chapman I bought this stool because I was having foot surgery and would need a way to take a shower seated (can't stand on the cast). It didn't feel stable under me (I do NOT weigh more than 150), and I think if bought for a bathtub it would work better. Our shower (as do all) has a pitched floor towards the drain, and the 4 legs create an uneven base (vs a 3 leg stool). Although the wider feet bases allow the tool to move easily on the shower tiles when I need to move around or get in/out of the shower - it was an "ok" value for the price.

Duro-Med Bamboo Bath Seat Sep 14, 2011
By Montana Clancy I like the bath seat very much with one exception. On a slanted shower floor it is somewhat difficult to get the legs to balance exactly. It dries quickly when tilted slightly. It is comfortable to sit on if I put a wash cloth down first. I would buy the Duro-Med bath seat again.

Sturdy and good quality. Jul 12, 2011

Nice quality shower stool, but turned out to be a bit large to keep in our shower. I still opted to keep it though and put it in the shower when needed.
