It doesn't spin very well. Jan 10, 2009
By coralsea I tore groin muscles earlier this year, getting out of the little Chevy Cavalier. (work car). I am tall, and you have to step out with one leg and lift yourself out to exit the vehicle. I had hoped this would allow me to swivel and exit, but the low car and driver cage/seat is too small to allow free rotation. It's a great concept...a swivel cushion without added height. The other ones added height, and I already bump my head on the roof of the car. But it would probably work better in a truck or SUV with more room to swivel and where you are stepping down out of the car

great swivel, not much padding Apr 27, 2010
By L. Mills I use this cushion for my husband who weighs about 220 pounds and has limited mobility. It is very helpful for twisting him into and out of the car seat, but his one complaint is that the cushion has very little padding. On the other hand, the thick cushions we've tried raise him so much that his knees hit the dashboard, so it's a trade-off. This cushion is defintely great for swiveling into and out of car seats. If you want thick padding, try something else.

swivel cushion made me more mobile Sep 03, 2009

I had orthopedic surgery that required certain practices that made getting in and out of the car a real challenge. This very low key looking car seat swivel made it so getting to physical therapy was a snap and assisted in the progress toward near total mobility. Most people who saw the cushion remarked that it was rather attractive and not huge and bulky when they moved it.

performs as advertised Oct 02, 2008
By M. Tolle I just got a different truck, and found that I had to twist pretty hard to get in and out. I feared that over time I would tear the seat, so I gave this swivel cushion a try.
I like it! It is light, stays in place without holding so tight you can't adjust it. Looks good, performs great, good price.....it's a winner!
I'd imagine this would assist someone who had a physical limitation to get in and out of their vehicle, also.

A waste of money Sep 14, 2009
By Martha Because I am recovering from a broken hip I have to move both legs at once to get in and out of car comfortably. I looked forward to receiving the swivel cushion to make this process easier.
It does not swivel easily and the fabric is not slidy.
SO back it goes .
I will continue to use plastic bags on the seat to ease my swiveling.
I weigh about 158 lbs so this was not a factor.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT
Very disappointing. The company was gracious about my returning the product but now I've paid shipping both ways. Sigh.
